MBN South Creek
Designed by Arnold Palmer, the Southcreek course at Myrtle Beach National is yet another jewel in Arnold's crown. Coastal wetlands and hardwood forests are the setting of this marvelous course. A very tight course with large bunkers, the predominately flat fairways are lined with artificial mounding and houses although an occasional bump here and there can lead to some uneven lies. Dog-legs are plentiful and a gentle touch is needed around the well-guarded greens and numerous waste areas. This relatively short course puts an emphasis on accuracy as opposed to distance, challenging your shot-making ability and course management. This course may look easy but don't be fooled it's harder you think, however, you won't need an "army" to conquer this one.
